Tucked away in the beautiful, rolling, typical coulisse landscape of the Bocage Bourbonnais, in the far west of the Allier department, lies the village of Treignat in the Pays d'Huriel region. Surrounding this village are a number of hamlets, including Pauliat. This nature house is located in this 'hameau'. In the hamlet live 15 people, divided between a number of old farms with barns and outbuildings. Because the cottage is located on the border of three different regions (Centre - Limousin - Auvergne), you will find here a huge diversity of nature and culture. Through the stone steps you enter the nature house and stand, typical of these French houses, directly in the living room. The living room still has the original beamed ceiling and has a dining table, sitting area with two-seater sofa and recliner. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen with gas stove, filter coffee maker, microwave oven and refrigerator. Next to the kitchen is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Stairs lead up to the upstairs room with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed (1.60x2.00) and the other a bunk bed.

The nature house has a beautiful private garden and spacious orchard with old apple and walnut trees. You are in the middle of nature surrounded by many hiking trails and a beautiful view. You can regularly see deer, roe deer and pheasants walking through the garden. The hamlet can be reached via a dead-end road. The road turns into rural paths from where you can enjoy walking or cycling in the countryside. There are many walks available. There are also two recreational lakes in the immediate vicinity where you can swim. Behind the house is a large terrace with garden furniture. From here you have a beautiful view of the garden, orchard and farmlands. Under the centrally located walnut tree are a picnic table and lounge / loungers. Here you can enjoy nature and French life.
