In Cladech is where this quietly located detached wooden chalet can be found in the Dordogne. The ruralhut is well equipped and is suitable for up to six people. A narrow road leads up to the house. The car can be parked at the backside in the shade. The veranda runs across the width of the ruralhut, a wonderful place to have your breakfast croissant in the morning sun. The spacious garden has been divided into different levels, and has a private piece of forest. The garden is sloped downwards, which leads to a quiet regional road roughly 100 meters from the house. There’s a saltwater pool with a terrace in the garden. The pool can be watched over from the veranda. The water is filtered with a pump and the equipment keeps the salt levels in balance. The pool is 8x4 meters and it is 160 centimeters deep. The temperature is roughly 16 degrees at the start of June, between 20-24 degrees at the start of July, and later during July and August it can be up to 26 degrees.

The ruralhut is set in the middle of the Dordogne, in the beautiful Perigord-Noir. It is set in a region ideal for hikers and culture lovers. There are beautiful medieval castles, prehistoric caves, and lovely villages nearby. You can start a number of walks near the ruralhut, and you can practically start a ‘boucle’ (walk-through) in every nearby village. Maps with hiking trails of the area can be found in the house. The hills are perfect for experienced cyclists. And of course, canoeing is something that is highly recommended to do here.
