This nature house is a detached log cabin in which you can enjoy a beautiful spacious garden and all that Southeast Drenthe has to offer in peace and privacy. You can choose to sleep in the double bedroom or you choose a romantic night in the box bed. You also have access to a luxurious bathroom, an open kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, gas hob, kettle and coffee maker and a small, cozy living room. At the front of the log cabin there is a veranda where, sitting in the afternoon and/or evening sun, you have an overview of the garden. On the various seating areas, including near the ponds, you can enjoy breakfast if desired. There is also Wi-Fi available as well as a covered and lockable bicycle storage and charging station. Under house code 27954 this nature house can also be booked for just two people.

The nature house is located in the southeast corner of Drenthe, near the German border. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions in the vicinity. For hiking and cycling, you can include the Bargerveen (the former Drenthe, rugged and inhospitable), along the King William Alexander Canal and various junction routes. Other attractions related to the past can be found in the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, the Veenpark in Barger-Compascuum and the Schoonebeek of old. You can also go to Nieuw-Amsterdam to visit the van Gogh house. Coevorden and Emmen have a more urban feel. Here, for example, you will find the famous Wildlands Adventure Zoo.
