In a secluded part of a 7.5-hectare property, the landlords have a 36 m² cottage. At the front is an 18 m² terrace with table and chairs. You can comfortably experience nature and enjoy the view of the three surrounding castles: Estremoz , Arraiolos and Evoramonte. There is a kitchenette with two burners, a refrigerator, plates, glasses, cutlery, pans et cetera. The nature house also has air conditioning. Since the electricity supply is completely autarkic, they rely on batteries at night. The air conditioning can only be used between 10 am and 7 pm. The bungalow has large windows that all have screens and the nights are normally cool. In winter - with afternoon temperatures around 20 ºC - the nights can be cold. There is a comfortable wood stove available with firewood sourced from cleaning the grounds.

It is their dream to create a place where peace and nature can be truly experienced. Therefore, on a nature plot with pristine Mediterranean forest on top, they have created a comfortable vacation home, everything firmly anchored on sustainability in all its aspects. It is located in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of nothing. That means that even basic needs such as water and electricity have been installed from scratch. They strive for minimal environmental impact and want to be as autarkic as possible. The nature on the property is one of a kind. The landscape looks much like an African savanna. There are typical African species, in addition to European ones, such as the Genet cat and Egyptian mongoose. The former shows itself only at night, the latter also in broad daylight. In terms of vegetation, holm oaks and cistus are dominant. Birdwatchers also have a paradise here. Griffon vulture and thekla are common in addition to dwarf vulture, gray kite and bee-eaters.
