The location of this nature house is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers and for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. You walk or cycle from the nature reserve like 'de Venen', but of course you can also just enjoy the peace and the many birds in the sunny garden! The open kitchen is fresh and modern and equipped with all appliances, there is a cozy dining area and a cozy and light living area with sliding doors throughout the façade, giving you the feeling that you are still in the middle of nature. Two gas boilers provide a pleasant warmth. On the mezzanine there is a double bed (twin beds), in the living room there is a sofa bed. There is also a bathroom with a very large walk-in shower, the toilet is separate. Right in front of the house there is a large terrace and in the back of the garden there is a sunny seating area. Hiking and cycling maps and advice can be picked up at the landlords. They will be happy to advise you on beautiful tours in the special surroundings.

The 'Hoge Venen' is a unique highland area in Western Europe. In the early spring, there is a lot of wild daffodils in each season, in the summer there is a wide variety of wild flowers, in autumn there are beautiful coloured trees and in winter, there is often a generous amount of snow. The garden borders to a small nature reserve with special birds, dragonflies and plants. There is a beaver castle about 300 meters away. There are also many species of birds in the garden, and there are foxes and deer. Furthermore, it is a good area for cycling, it is a mountain bike paradise but because cycling trails have been built on former railway tracks, the cycling environment for the less-sporty cyclist is also attractive. The famous Vennbahn long-distance bicycle path (Aachen-Troisvierges (LU) runs one kilometer from the house, with miles of car-free and very gentle ascending or descending cycling due to the special nature of East Belgium. For those who occasionally enjoy more people around, there is a wide range of cities and towns in half an hour to an hour's drive from the naturehouse.
