This small, cozy nature house is part of an old farmhouse in the Northern Lakes Region of Italy, just south of the Alps in the Lombardy region. The cottage is built from the rock-hewn stones. The cottage is simple, but fully equipped. There is a nice terrace and a swimming pool. The cottage has a beautiful view and is located in a beautiful area from where you can immediately start a walk. In the valley there is a road of which some noise can be heard. Depending on the season you can pick plums, figs, apples, pears, olives and nuts in the garden. In the Cantina you will find garden chairs and deck chairs. Because of the terraced garden and the various steps in and around the house, it is important that young and old stand firmly on their legs. Some skill is required e.g. to change a gas tank. You can park directly in front or close to the house. Basic groceries are available! For shopping go to Ossimo Supriore, Borno or into the valley.

Nature and surroundings

This nature house is located in the Commune di Piancogno and is partly built into the mountain. It is quietly located with a few cottages in the immediate vicinity. You overlook the valley "Valle Camonica" and you have a beautiful view of the Brenta Dolomites. Our cottage has a terraced garden that used to be used as a vineyard. Many fruit-bearing trees and shrubs have now been planted. From the cottage you can start directly with several walks such as to a waterfall, ruins and various forests. With a hike over the top of the cottage, you can visit the beautiful monastery of Annunciata. Just behind the mountain is Borno, from where you can hike to Lago di Lovo. Tough hikers can continue from there to the Lozzio valley. Heading south you can go to the beautiful and sheltered Lago di Moro and on to Lake Iseo. To the North you can go to Breno and from there into the Dolomites (Passo Crocio Domini) with unprecedented hiking possibilities.
