The former stable of this half-timbered farmhouse from the eighteenth century has been completely restored into a real nature house. The nature house is suitable for up to six people. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen and toilet with shower. On the second floor two bedrooms, a toilet and a cozy bathroom. Sitting terraces have been constructed around the house on different levels, with the most beautiful view from the Netherlands to the Belgian Ardennes. Nature house 30170 is located on the same property. Together the nature houses offer room for 14 people. Hence the large table and extra chairs. There is a stove instead of a fireplace. The sauna which is one terrace higher is only for these two cottages to use and can accommodate about six people. From the sauna you have a beautiful view of the valley.

The nature house is located high on a southern slope in the hamlet of Cottessen in the most beautiful spot of the Geul Valley and the five-star awarded South Limburg Hill Country (NL). There is a large, sloping house yard facing south. No traffic comes to the house (unpaved, steep road and prohibited access for unauthorized persons). The house is located between two other houses, both of which are also rented as vacation homes. Only, all three cottages are located on their own terrace on the slope. Furthermore, the cottage is 100 meters away from the Vijlenerbos.
