Via the veranda you enter a lounge with a ''cabane'' style with wood burning stove, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. A nice bed brings you to rest completely in the middle of nature. In the separate bathroom you will find a sink, toilet and spacious shower. From the covered terrace you can see deer on the edge of the forest and see the birds in the sky. Due to the remote location there is no radio, TV or internet in the house. A real ruralhut. The house is specially designed for couples and children over 16 years old. Children under 16 years old are not allowed. Wi-Fi is available free of charge at the La Truite d'Argent inn. The inn is located 100 meters from the house.

The Belgian Ardennes offer plenty of natural beauty to enjoy. Houffalize is part of a European network of protected natural areas, Natura 2000, and is part of Les Deux Ourthes Nature Park. Right from the ruralhut you can start with beautiful walks through the hilly landscape. The La Truite d'Argent inn is a minute's walk from the house, where you can have a nice snack or have a drink. The vast forests with alternate trees, the upper lanes of the river Ourthe, the mountain massif Le Herou and the numerous small farming villages make the area a true paradise for nature and outdoor sports enthusiasts. In the town of Houffalize there are a number of restaurants and cafes and in the village of Achouffe (18 kilometers) is the cozy La Grange restaurant. Do you want to experience some culture? In Bastogne (17 kilometers) you will find the famous Madrason War Museum, in Clervaux (20 kilometers) the photo exhibition 'Family of Man' and the city of Luxembourg is an hour's drive.
