The cozy nature house, suitable for six adults, is part of an estate which has been located in Irschen's Cadastre since 1717, and is facing the southern slopes of Irschen's house mountain ''Scharnick'', one of the peaks of the Kreuzeck group. It is a quiet and sunny spot at about 1270 meter altitude with a magnificent view of the Jauken Mountains and the Dolomites. On the ground floor the house has a cozy living room with traditional wood burning fireplace and a door to the terrace. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed, which creates two additional sleeping places. A CD player / radio, satellite television with DVD player and various table games for the whole family are available for entertainment. The living room gives access to a bedroom with double bed and the kitchen which is equipped with all the conveniences. On the ground floor you will also find the bathroom with sink, shower and WC. The upper floor has two large bedrooms with double beds, each room has a patio door to the balcony. Also there is a second large bathroom here.

Wherever the continent and the sea came together is now one of the most beautiful river landscapes of the southern Alps. Between the crystal line and dark gentle peaks of the Kreuzeck group and the light limestone of the Gailtal Alps, the Drau has a beaten path. On the 720 kilometer long road, the water travels through four countries. The top of the Drau is today one of the last natural rivers in the Alps. The 60 kilometer long valley of the border with East Tyrol and Carinthia and the confluence of Drau and Lieser counts as Europe's most attractive and ecologically valuable river landscapes and is a European protected area. The cozy ruralhut lies on the sunny southern slope of the Kreuzeck group. The absolutely quiet location has a beautiful view over the Oberdrautal, the Jauken mountain range and the Dolomites. Bonte, smelly herbs, fresh spring water, cool mountain lakes and beautiful views belong to the landscape of the mountain village.
