In the northwest of Morvan Natural Park lies the typical French village of Mhère. This nature house is the last house of the village; the former post office. Since 2010, the landlord is proud owner of this characteristic property. Since then it has undergone a metamorphosis! The center of the house is the large, cozy living kitchen. This is where the sun shines early in the morning. The high windows offer a beautiful view over the hills. In the evening it is good to stay in the "salon" which has a cozy atmosphere with its special furnishings. The two wood stoves heat the kitchen and salon. On warm summer evenings you sit on the terrace, enjoying the starry sky and sounds of crickets, frogs and owls. But the bench in front of the house is also a favorite evening spot! The warmth of the sun is still in the walls, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or wine there. At dusk, the bats flutter around the lamppost. You really are in the middle of nature here, the most beautiful walks start at the front door! The house is set up for small children. The spacious garden (1500 m²) changes halfway into a more robust terrain, where you can build cabins and light a campfire on the fire pit.
