This secluded nature house sits on the south side of a hill in a small valley, a modernized masia, a Catalan farmhouse.Swimming, MTB'ing, building dams in the little river, hiking along streams and ruins, cooking with mountain views, building huts, sawing wood, looking for animal tracks and at night stargazing and listening to the owls, frogs and wild boars. At this natur cottage you can unwind but will not be bored! The cottage has its own drinking water well and solar panels for electricity. Three wood stoves are used to heat the house, making efficient use of what little electricity there is. Hair dryers, microwaves, kettles and irons take too much power for the system and so you will not find them here. Supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and the like are 10 minutes away. You can spot wildlife: wild boar, owls, foxes and deer. Hiking and mountain bike routes start at the house. Furthermore, there is a wide choice of outdoor activities nearby.

The nature house is in the middle of nature. From every room, through the many windows, there is a view over the little valley, where there is no other house. There are several hiking trails from the house, but you can also wander around the house in the forest and by the river, looking for animal tracks, for example. The house has a swimming pool, but if you prefer to swim in natural water you can take a 20-minute walk to a larger river further away. Especially early in the morning and at dusk you can spot animals from the large terrace. Lately there have been regular visits from foxes, wild boars that come to eat from the compost heap, bats, geckos, large birds of prey and sometimes a deer or a badger. Owls and woodpeckers are not easily seen, but they make themselves clearly heard almost every night! Animal spotting and listening can be perfectly combined with stargazing: the nights in our little valley are usually beautifully clear because there is no light pollution.
