This house is a charming, detached nature house located on an estate of about 0.5 hectares, without the presence of direct neighbors, a place to relax as a couple or with the family. The landscape in which this nature house is located is gently rolling and can be explored by bicycle or on foot. The terraces on the east and west sides of the house offer shade and/or sun during the day. The terrace by the private pool offers sun almost all day. The garden is enclosed by an unbroken hedge and therefore safe for (small) children to play in. Smoking is not allowed, as well as pets. Kitchen, bed and bath textiles are provided, but there are no beach towels or bedding for the baby bed. Final cleaning is not included, but is optional. This should be indicated well in advance of your stay for scheduling purposes. If the stay is not left clean, the extra hours of cleaning will be charged.

The countryside around the nature house is quiet, gently rolling and safe to explore by bicycle or on foot. A variety of crops grow in the fields, but mainly sunflowers and cereals, but vineyards, orchards of soft fruits, vegetables and nuts can also be seen. Many of the vineyards are near wineries that are open for tasting and direct sales, including the famous Cahors wines. You can find these and other fresh products from the region at the artisanal weekly markets held in the larger villages and towns. The area has a rich history; each village and town has its own historical and characteristic features. Lauzerte, the nearest larger town, is a medieval hilltop village and is listed among "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France" with wooden half-timbered houses and narrow medieval streets that lead you to the central square.
