The cottage is on a back lot of a farmyard. The plot is one hectare in size and completely fenced. On the plot where the cottage is situated is a carp pond for fishing, hiking trails, is a bird hide and some other cottages are present in a spacious setting. Here may therefore be freely recreated. Within walking distance you will find the Hemelrijkse Waard, a beautiful nature reserve on the Maas where you can wander around for hours. There are also beautiful cycling routes over the dikes in the river landscape with idyllic Maas villages, harbors, restaurants and plenty of recreational opportunities.
