Beautiful nature can still be found in Europe! This nature house is located in a beautiful mountain landscape with a species diversity that has disappeared in Western Europe. The house is divided into two apartments and is very suitable for groups of eight people, with the possibility of adding a crib. The apartments overlook the valleys towards Slovenia and the foothills of the Alps. Although it feels like you are separated from the world, this nature house is only 200 meters from the village center of Skrad. Each apartment covers one level of the house. The lower apartment has a balcony with great views. Both apartments have a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and induction hob. If necessary, the apartments can also be rented separately. Outside there is a terrace with a barbecue and seating area.

The area is insane and there is much to do. For example, consider Devils Passage, a beautiful gorge just outside Skrad. The hike from the nature house also includes Zeleni Vir, a waterfall that comes down from a 70-meter-high rock. There is also Kamacnik Canyon, a short river just outside Vrbovsko that offers a three-kilometer hike from where it flows into the Dobra River to its source in a deep, blue lake. The mysterious, almost magical quality of the view makes a visit more than worthwhile.The Kupa River is one of the four major rivers in Croatia and rises in Risnjak National Park.The colors are spectacular the pictures don't do it justice. Occasionally you can see fish jumping out of the water catching flies. Just outside the park boundaries, the Kupa River offers many activities, such as rafting and swimming. For those interested, fly fishing is among the possibilities.
