The spacious and cozy nature house is located on a nature park near Westerbork. A park where you can still hear the silence. Everything in the house is on one level and there is central heating throughout. The living room is bright, spacious and has a large glass sliding door and an open kitchen. There is a spacious bathroom with double sink, walk-in/rain shower and whirlpool. There are three bedrooms: 1 double room with electrically adjustable bed bases and 2 single rooms with box-spring beds, a camp bed and high chair on request and an extendable bed gate for toddlers. The nature house is also suitable for 2 couples. In the largest single room there is room for 2 single beds. The spacious terrace/garden faces south and offers a lot of privacy. From the garden you walk directly into the Reijntjesbos and onto the Reijntjesveld. A beautiful moorland with sand drifts. The sheep herd often walks here.

Our nature house is on the edge of the nature park overlooking forest and heathland. The nature park is located between the beautiful village of Westerbork, the historic village of Orvelte and the nature reserve Orvelterzand. In front of the cottage is a large lawn where children can play. Don't forget your binoculars to spot the many birds around the cottage. The cottage is a wonderful starting point for hiking and cycling in Drenthe. Westerbork, two kilometers away, is bustling with summer activities with cozy terraces/restaurants. There is plenty to do in the area. Visit the dolmen center in Borger, the Westerbork memorial camp or the peat park in Barger-Compascuum near Emmen, where Drenthe's peat history comes to life. Near Elp you will find the Ieberenplas, a swimming lake with a beautiful sandy beach for young and old, in the middle of the woods of forestry Grolloo, the Hart van Drenthe nature reserve.
