In the heart of the mountains of the Upper Nure Valley, after eight years of opening in the hills of Piacenza and born on May 31, 2014, the new Gruccione - Locanda del Tempo Ritrovato continues its Life, with the management of a kind of Apennine hut carved out of an old barn and granary, to promote convivial hospitality, offer local, poor cuisine, including vegan and fish, and spread culture. The Gruccione is a multi-service international hostel that offers, proudly, rural hospitality; in the area where it is, at present, located noise and light pollution are almost absent. The potential of the place leads one to think of a tourism project that values slowness, listening, and silence from which relationship, sharing, and peace can arise.

The new Gruccione Locanda del Tempo Ritrovato is in Alta Val Nure, in the province of Piacenza, on the Via degli Abati, in a mountainous Apennine area, 700 meters above sea level, of high naturalistic interest, below the twelve jumps of the Perino waterfalls, quite close to the Trebbia River. Within sight: fawns, deer, badgers, foxes, squirrels, hares and many birds.
