Note: Still available / bookable in the period from April 20-21 May and June 29 to July 19, 24.2024 Our Casa is located exactly in the middle of the island. Most tourist destinations are therefore very easy to reach. At 758m altitude at the foot of Monte d Oro (2389m) - at the entrance to the famous Corsican hiking trail GR 20 and Parc Naturel of Corsica. The oldest Laricio pines grow in "our" valley and due to the dense tree population, this region is the "green lung" of the island. With many species of birds, bats, butterflies, praying mantises, dragonflies etc.! A very large (approx. 6000 square meters!) property and the ambience of an ecologically correctly renovated, modernized and historic natural stone house (built in 1883) offers absolute peace, relaxation and recreation in the most beautiful weeks of the year - this is unique! Children are very welcome here and have plenty of space to play in nature and with animals. Guided riding excursions are possible.

In Corsica, every season has its own charms: the Mediterranean climate means that winter is usually mild and sunny; the months of November and December have the most rainy days. Harvesting takes place in the fall: It's the time for mushrooms, nuts, apples, chestnuts (delicious with Corsican wild boar!) and the arbrouses that abound around the house! We cultivate old, wonderfully large chestnuts on the property, which yield delicious chestnuts in the fall! This is the hunting season in the mountains and we offer wild boar specialties. From December/January, top-quality fruit such as kiwis, oranges, lemons and clementines are harvested on the coast. If it is mostly mild and sunny in Corsica, it is cool at night in the mountains. The Casa has well insulated windows/doors/roof insulation. A Danish wood-burning stove in the kitchen and a fireplace in the living room. With walls approx. 1 meter thick, there is a pleasant indoor climate in summer/winter without any air conditioning.
