Above the village of Isca sullo Ionio in Calabria, three kilometers from the sea lies Il Garage. On our small hill with behind it the river and the mountains, the cottage overlooks the village and the sea. The place has 360 degree views. Based on former pigsties that serve as a bedroom with a double bed, the cottage has been expanded with a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, a living room and kitchen and a terrace. Here the peace of nature and the buzz of the village find each other.

Pigpens often used to be in the most beautiful places: in the country, not too far from the village and with a beautiful view. Today, these little buildings are often long out of use and dilapidated into a pile of stones.
