Charming nature house, completely built in original style, beautifully situated in a private valley in the middle of the Parc Natural Regional des Causses du Quercy. The cottage has a large (heated) private pool, and is fully equipped. A fully equipped spacious kitchen including oven, microwave, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine, a cozy living room with a large fireplace with wood stove for any cold nights, flat screen TV (with BBC and other foreign channels), free wifi. Bed and kitchen linen is provided. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom (also more than enough room for a baby crib), a landing with single bed and the bathroom with WC, sink, bathtub and separate spacious shower. The nature house and the original house (17th century) are located in an uninhabited valley in the middle of the Causses du Quercy nature reserve. Absolute peace and quiet reigns, except for the occasional bleating of some sheep and at night the call of an owl. In the fields around the house you can see deer and the occasional fox at night, wild boar are at home in the surrounding woods. Due to the absence of large cities and industries in the area, this area has the most beautiful starry skies in France.5 km away is the cozy center village of Labastide-Murat. Here you will find a large Carrefour, a bakery, a butcher, a bank, a gas station, the weekly market with local products, a well known restaurant, a French fry and pizza joint, the fire department and a medical center. Walks and bike rides through the beautiful nature reserve, visits to castles, picturesque villages, charming towns, local farmers' markets, antique and flea markets, prehistoric caves, you name it.
