The Pheasant is a spacious lodge with a very spacious outdoor area and lawn. With 14 double rooms, this group accommodation can accommodate as many as 28 people. In the spacious living room with cozy gas fireplace is room for everyone. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for large groups. From the (covered) terrace there is a beautiful view of the leafy meadow where our Galloway cows graze.

The 14-acre estate is well hidden at the border point of the three northern provinces. The landscape park is an oasis of peace, with its own fen, forest, parks and pasture with its own livestock. But also plenty of room for play and entertainment on the sports field, volleyball court, bocce courts and climbing forest with rope course. Through the gate at the back of the property you can walk straight onto the heath and into the beautiful nature reserves of 't Fryske Gea and Staatsbosbeheer.
