Close to the estate is our simple nature house (50 m2). It has a kitchenette, shower, toilet and pellet stove. There is no separate bedroom. Pets by arrangement The cottage is cool, even when it is warm outside. We have internet, but no TV. The cottage is in a farmyard and has its own access. The farm is completely self-sufficient. We try to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible, with no natural gas and purchased electricity. There is no cleaning fee, but you must leave the cottage clean. Bicycles are also available for rent. Enjoy the beautiful old cultural landscape. Spot deer at the edge of the woods from the cottage. Experience the pure silence . For us the cottage is the main source of income; by renting it you support us and the farm . The cottage is not a hotel suite, but t essential is there. Also all linen is there. There is a 100 eu deposit when booking.

From the cottage there are beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity, through the woods of Weldam and the special Twente coulisse landscape. Or to one of the six castles in Diepenheim. You can also visit the Drawing Centre Diepenheim, with changing exhibitions and workshops. Museum MORE in Gorssel and Rijksmuseum Twenthe in Enschede are well worth a visit. For lovers of architecture, the Roombeek district (former fireworks factory) is an absolute must. Innumerable are the hiking possibilities in the region. In the top ten of our guests include: the Deldeneresch at Twickel estate, Springendal near Ootmarsum, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, Paaschberg near Oldenzaal, the Markelose Berg, Lonnekermeer and the Lutterzand Stuifzandroute.
