There is room for up to 6 adults: 1 bedroom with a double bed of 200x160cm, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds of 200x80 and two cribs and there is a sofa bed of 200x160 in the living room. 2 women's bicycles with child seats available for free. Bicycles can be rented in the village. Haulerwijk is located in Friesland in an area with scenic landscape. Groningen and Drenthe are around the corner. City of Groningen, Assen and Drachten are about 30 car minutes away and the bus stop is 400m away. Supermarket, stores, restaurants and other amenities are within cycling distance. Nice villages like Veenhuizen, Norg and Bakkeveen are accessible by bike.

The cottage is located directly on LAW14 walking route (Groot Frieslandpad) and on the Stellingwerfroute. This nature house is an excellent base for hiking and cycling. Near "Blue Forest" (800 meters); Nature reserve Fochteloërveen 6km; Drents-Friese Wold 12km. Hunebedden oa. at 4km, at night it is still really dark here and can be enjoyed the stars. The cottage is suitable for sporty peace seekers, nature lovers and certainly for families with (young) children.
