Nature house in Sannidal
Eastern Norway, Norway
- 4 persons
- 1 bedroom
- Contactless stay
- Pets allowed
This cozy cottage is hidden in the forest as the only one on a small lake. It has an anteroom for storing wet jackets and shoes, and a large living/sleeping room with 2 bunk beds. There is no electricity and no running water. However, a small solar panel generates 12 volts and is sufficient for light and charging a telephone or camera. Next door is a barn with an outhouse. The water in the lake is very clean, but we did not test it for drinking water quality.
Nature and surroundings
Kurdøla lies on the border between Kragerø and Drangedal. The whole area consists of a lot of forest and small lakes. The access road is closed with a barrier so that not everyone can drive into the area unhindered and our guests can enjoy the peace and quiet. There is a lot of game such as roe deer, deer, beaver and even moose in the area. The waters are rich in smaller trout and perch. Fishing is allowed and you do not need a fishing license in the lakes. Larger fish can be caught in the nearby lake Tokke, but you will probably need a fishing license.
