From your bed of this nature house you look through the glass ceiling to the wooden cog, which can be illuminated at night. The bathroom is small but modern and offers you a great view over the meadows while showering.

The mill is located in nature reserve the Groene Ster (also known as the Kleine Wielen), not far from Leeuwarden. It is surprising, to find such a beautiful nature reserve, so close to the city. You can walk through the wetland and bird-rich area from the mill, past meadows and a small lake. Close to the nature house is also a recreational area with a beach, where you can swim and sunbathe in summer. In 15 minutes you are in the center of Leeuwarden where you can enjoy shopping, a terrace, a street art tour or a cruise through the canals.
