This nature house is a large wooden cottage on the edge of the vast forest with separate sleeping lodges. You can stay here with up to 3 families (12 persons, of which 6 adults). In doing so, you have the choice of a 4-person cottage or a 6-person cottage. The cottages have a natural basic look but with lovely box-spring beds for adults and cozy bunk beds for the children. The 4-person sleeping cottages each have a 2-person box-spring bed and a bunk bed. The 6-person cabins also have an extra bunk bed. There are no toilets or showers in the sleeping houses. There is a separate house for the sanitary facilities which are shared. De Kiet has a cozy contemporary home decor, a dining room and a cozy sitting area with wood stove. There is a kitchen facility with dishes, a large stove, large refrigerator and an outdoor kitchenette.

This nature house is beautifully situated on a small charming campsite in the middle of the largest continuous nature reserve of Brabant, De Maashorst. From the nature house you walk straight into the nature reserve. Here you will find the large grazers like the European bison the wisent, exmoor pony and Taurus. There are several special natural pearls including the pointing phenomenon in the Peelrand fault to visit. There are also special primal treasures in the area such as King's Tombs and an ancient urn field. The cottage is located at the edge of the forest. At the front is a terrace with playing field and campfire place by the water.
