The entrance to this gîte is on an attractive courtyard and has a private south-facing terrace overlooking hills and valleys with chestnut forests, meadows and fields, where you can enjoy true silence. It is a cozy house with oak floors and beams and large windows on the magnificent views.

In Z. France in the Aveyron near the river Tarn between Albi and Millau, lies Albugue, our medieval homestead in the very quiet nature reserve of the "Parc Regional des Grands Causses". The houses and pitches offer breathtaking views over hills and valleys. Around two courtyards are about five houses, built of stacked stone with slate roofs. Gates, arches, steps and vistas give the whole a romantic but also playful character. In high season it is a very suitable place for people with small children, there are always friends. There is playground equipment, a cottage and a sandbox and we have sheep, lambs, chickens, cats and a dog. Albugue is located on a private road of 500m. The cars that come here belong to us and the guests. There is no open water in the immediate area, so it is also safe at that point. At 400m walk in the valley through the chestnut forest meanders a stream with a water basin and a waterfall.
