Sleep in an old cowshed. The stable has been renovated and equipped with all amenities. There are two bedsteads, 1 with a double bed and 1 with a bunk bed (in the ad as separate rooms because of system..., ) From the dining table you have a beautiful view of the meadows and sheep. In the ditch swim carp and frogs. Regularly water birds pass by. On the side terrace you sit between the fruit trees and on the back terrace you have a beautiful view over the meadows with the city of Schagen in the distance. The living area is about 50m2 and is conveniently arranged with a sitting area (with wood stove), a kitchenette, a spacious dining table and a TV corner. Outside is room for hammocks and there is a bike cover and a fire pit. The yard is separated with a fence so you have a private yard with your own entrance. NOTE: a ditch runs alongside the residence (see photos). Decide for yourself whether this makes the location suitable for small enterprising children.

The stable is in a yard ± 20 m from the residence. The residence and house are separated by a fence, each with its own piece of yard and entrance. Tolke is an old hamlet situated on an old toldijk in the middle of the meadows. A footpath of about 3km leads you through the meadows to Schagen. Beach of Callantsoog (with fine beach tents and free parking) and Petten at about 15km distance and also the nature reserve "zwanenwater" in Callantsoog at about 15km distance. You can cycle along the West Frisian dike. Schagen offers many restaurants and stores. Also plenty to do in the area for young children.
