Welcome to our typical Valais nature house built in 1751! The house is located slightly above the village of Grächen, near Zermatt. Here you will find peace, fresh air, lots of sunshine and an impressive view of the surrounding mountains, including the Matterhorn. The apartment on the ground floor (approx. 75 m2) is cozy and attractively furnished for four people. A living room with lounge sofa and television, a large kitchen with stove, oven, kettle and Nespresso machine, two bedrooms with new box spring beds, a work corner and two bathrooms. Of course, Wifi is available. The house includes a private terrace (east side) and two small balconies facing south and west. A parking space in the garage about 150 m from the house is included. Please note: As usual in old chalets, the ceiling height in the apartment is partly lower (approx. 1.90 m).

Grächen is located in a beautiful area and has much to offer in both summer and winter. The climate is very nice with warm summers and often cold but sunny winters.You can walk in Grächen and surroundings, hiking trails start right in front of the house. In summer (in the area) there are also opportunities for climbing, mountain biking, golfing and swimming. For children there are themed walks, water fun at the water pipes and playgrounds. Fun places in the area include Zermatt and Brig and within 2 hours you sit on Lake Geneva or Lake Maggiore in Italy!In winter Grächen is known as a child-friendly, snow-sure ski resort with 44 km. of slopes. For children there is the Sisu Family Park where, among other things, they can learn to ski while playing. There are winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, an ice rink and snowshoe trails for non-skiers. Both on the slopes and in the village you will find cozy bars and restaurants.
