The lodge in an oasis of tranquility overlooking the meadows of polder Nijenrode in Breukelen, equipped with wood-fired hot tub. The Lodge can accommodate 2 people (in consultation 1 adult or 1-2 children extra) and has a Scandinavian interior using as much natural and sustainable materials as possible. On the veranda you can enjoy sitting in the late evening sun. The detached Lodge is completely separate from our house, however, your privacy is guaranteed. The garden offers both sun and shade through trees and unobstructed views over the meadows. The Lodge has a living room equipped with comfortable sofa, dining area, smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, hood, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, crockery/glassware) and has Wifi. In addition, a bathroom with spacious shower cabin, sink and toilet, and a bedroom with double box-spring bed. The beds are made and the Lodge is equipped with bath towels and kitchen linen.

With a little luck you will see a roe deer some distance from the Lodge early in the morning or at dusk. At this beautiful, quiet and green location in the middle of the Vecht region, with Utrecht, Amsterdam and the Loosdrecht lakes just around the corner, it is optimal enjoyment if you love nature, hiking, cycling, boating, water sports, culture and eating out. The immediate neighbors are the cows in the meadow. Our neighbors including Nijenrode estate are within sight distance. Sometimes you can see the farmer walking through the land e.g. to fetch the cows. Sometimes you can hear some students singing in a jolly mood. Regularly you hear the pinging of the bells of the carillon of Nijenrode Castle. Basically, it is quiet with pleasant ambient sounds. The Lodge is easily accessible by car/motorbike/scooter/bike, the last part is an unpaved path of 600 meters that is also safe to drive in winter. Breukelen village is at 10 biking and 30 walking minutes, as well as NS station Breukelen.
