Situated on a hill surrounded by olive groves, it is very quiet and private, but is within easy reach of a famous spa and the main village. The location is ideal for day trips to: Florence, Pisa, Pistoia, Lucca, Montecatini, Vinci. The house is an old Italian house tastefully renovated with modern furnishings, kitchen and bedrooms with private bathrooms. On the ground floor there are two large fireplaces on both sides of the house: one in the panoramic living room and the other - a wood-burning oven for bread and pizza - in the dining room. On the second floor there are four bedrooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning, furnished with style and character and with beautiful panoramic views. Guests can also enjoy a large terrace with a veranda for outdoor dining, a barbecue and an outdoor pool. The owners live on-site in a detached building with two sweet and friendly dogs, free WI-FI and a brand new heating and air conditioning system throughout the house.

The location is an excellent base for day trips to Lucaa (34 kilometers) - Pisa (55 kilometers) - Florence (50 kilometers) - San gimignano (60 kilometers) ... but also some places off the beaten path to get a different view of the region. Vinci (20 kilometers away), the birthplace of Renaissance genius Leonardo, is a charming medieval village that is worth a visit alone. You can combine a visit to the unique museum featuring Leonardo's incredible machines and inventions with a Chianti wine tasting montecatini (just 10 minutes away) one of the most elegant "spa towns," with its historic baths, beautiful parks, and fashionable boulevard. I recommend a visit to the Tettuccio spa. Nearby are many beautiful medieval villages surrounded by olive trees: Montevettolini Buggiano Castello, Uzzano, and Montecatini Alto where you can stroll along the cobblestone streets and discover the many traditional restaurants serving local cuisine.
