This is an apartment at the back of our large farmhouse, which also houses a Cooking Studio' eatery. The yard is just off the road so you step directly into the tranquility of southern Friesland. The apartment offers, both inside and outside, enough space for 2 to 6 people. The apartment has fantastic views of the Frisian fields on two sides. In the garden with its large lawn, children can romp freely and adults can unwind. There is a large living room with wood stove and the spacious kitchen is fully equipped. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. A separate toilet and second bathroom is on the ground floor. A separate study for home workers or a workstation is also available. Parking is available on site and 5 bicycles can be borrowed.

The cottage is an ideal base for numerous activities for example strolling in Frisian villages such as Lemmer, Joure, Balk. You can walk in the Rottige Meente, along the Scheene and the Gaasterland forests. A junction bicycle route goes past the house and you can sail on the Tjonger and the Tjeukemeer. Or a little further away to Lemmer or Langweer. You can swim in the Tjeukemeer, 500 meters away is a swimming pier. Sandy beaches are nearby in Oosterzee and Delfstrahuizen. Kiting is beautiful at the Mirnser cliff and on the north side of the Tjeukemeer at Rohel.
