The Bakhuisje is a sweet authentic cottage, comfortably furnished with underfloor heating . There is a small living room with also a wood stove and bedroom with a double bed ( and TV) with bathroom. The Bakhuisje has a nice kitchenette : two burner induction stove, a Nespresso machine, a microwave and a refrigerator Eating out is great in Heusden and Den Bosch. The Bakhuisje has a nice terrace and also a covered terrace with a wide view, in addition to fresh herbs from the vegetable garden, delicious for salads. If you like to work in the garden: welcome! The Bakhuisje can be rented together with the adjacent Rietenhuisje or Buijshuisje via nature house website. The Wicker cottage has a modern kitchen with all fascilities, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer. The Buijshuisje has a modern kitchenette. Bed linen and towels are provided. The village of Herpt is beautifully situated in the river landscape of Heusden and Altena. You can spend hours here walking and cycling through the varied Dutch landscape. Deep peace locally, pleasant bustle in nearby Heusden and Den Bosch. The Loonse and Drunense Dunes are nearby. Den Bosch is 12 km away. This city was recently named the most pleasant city for shopping. A visit to the North Brabant Museum, the Verkade factory and a cruise through the Dieze River is recommended. The Efteling is a 20-minute drive away. And in Cromvoirt there is a fantastic golf course.
