The house is located in the rural coulisse landscape characteristic of the Achterhoek. The nature reserve "The Gorsselsche Heide" is 400 meters away. The estate of the castle 't Joppe (walking distance 2 km) is open to the public. The environment is attractive for walking, cycling and car trips. There are many tourist hiking, cycling (junctions), ATB and car routes on the Internet or at the local tourist office in Gorssel. The nearby Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer, and the 8 castles near Vorden with beautiful estates are worth a visit.
