Welcome to Sun Cottage Sage! Our four cottages are detached and set back on our wonderfully quiet and unique forest island. This is the last cottage of the four, with a fenced side garden and directly on the forest. The perfect base for exploring the Veluwe, walking or biking! Dogs are allowed, and parking is available in the large parking lot. On the ground floor you will find the dining/sitting room with open kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet and a covered terrace. Upstairs are two bedrooms with double bed and two single beds. You have to go through bedroom 1 to get to bedroom 2. Especially for nature lovers a lovely quiet base to discover the Veluwe, walking or cycling (or by mountain bike, possibly for rent in the village at Bike & Eat). There is plenty of wildlife to spot, sometimes even from your cottage! Children are welcome, however, there are no (play) facilities for children.

Overlooking the rolling cornfields, enclosed by the woods, here you walk directly into the forest or fields. To the waterfalls, spring and fens. The vast heathlands and sand drifts. There is plenty of wildlife to spot here! Adjacent you cycle a little further through the Loenermark, to the Posbank or the Park de Hoge Veluwe including Sint Hubertusslot and the Kröller Möller museum. Furthermore, there are many, many tourist attractions in the area, such as the Veluwe steam train, recreational lake Bussloo, Burgers Zoo, The Apenheul, The Open Air Museum in Arnhem, Kristalbad, the Spelerij and climbing forest Apeldoorn. You can rent bicycles at various places in the village, such as 'Bike & Eat' or 'Van Ark'. In the village, within walking distance, is a Spar and in neighboring villages Eerbeek and Beekbergen you will find the Jumbo, Albert Heijn and many other stores as well as weekly markets. (The market in Eerbeek is on Tuesdays). Restaurant 't Ruifje is here in Loenen, highly recommended!
