After our last Overland trip from the Netherlands to Asia in our old army ambulance, we were looking for a nice base in nature. We found that in this '60 cottage in the Veluwe and near it. After a major renovation into a cozy "Tiny House" it is completely furnished to our liking. Equipped with all conveniences, yet also basic. A nice mix of wood, coziness and tranquility. Via stairs you climb to the sleeping loft under the wooden gabled roof, where you wake up in the morning with the sound of birds. It also has a wood stove, a well-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet and even a projector for a cinema experience. But of course you also come here for the peace and nature. Outside, you can enjoy the spacious woodland garden and on the terrace a BBQ and wood stove are waiting for you. Use the tree stump as a block to chop your kindling and you're ready for summer evenings. You may use our bikes to explore the area.

As soon as you drive onto the small vacation park you suddenly notice that you are driving away from the "normal" world. The asphalt disappears and gives way to a bumpy dirt road towards your cottage. The sound of cars gives way to that of birds. But in the immediate vicinity is also much to explore: all kinds of bicycle routes to the Veluwe and Veluwe, mountain bike trails, a climbing forest, and even (kite) surfing can beach Horst less than 5 minutes away. But there are also several supermarkets, restaurants etcetera within 5 minutes cycling. Do you fancy a nice old village or town then we can definitely recommend Harderwijk and Amersfoort.
