This nature house is a cabin with 2 bunk beds, a table, chairs, lamp, cooking facilities, kettle, dishes and more. Outside is a large picnic table. The cottage is in the little harbor, so views of boats and water and lots of greenery.

In the north of Friesland, on the elfstentochtroute, jabikspaad and kleiroute, lies the recreational harbor and mini camping. There is room for 7 campers, 2 tents, 7 passing places for boats and there are 2 hiker's huts. The campsite has a sanitary building with showers and toilets. The campsite is located at the lively village of Ried, between Berltsum and Franeker. It is about 5 kilometers away from the coast and by bike it is a wonderful piece to the Waddenzee.The campsite is very quiet, located on the forest on one side and the handball field on the other side. In the village is a hairdresser but otherwise there are no amenities. For that you have to go to Franeker, Berltsum or one of the other larger villages nearby. The village does have a playground and schoolyard where children can play. The village hall is also open regularly and there is plenty to do there.
