This nature house is a small guest house in the landlords' yard. The cottage has a private entrance and is located against a bush. It has a large private terrace and a natural swimming pool. You can use the Swedish wood-fired sauna. Our donkeys, Heissa and Francien love attention...Towels, kitchen towels and linens are provided in the cottage. Parking in front of the cottage is quite possible.

The cottage is located on the Maarten van Rossum trail. In the hillside forest near Balkbrug is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, in 2018 voted the most beautiful pool in the Netherlands. The cottage is located between two nature reserves , on the one hand the Staphorsterbos and on the other hand the beautiful Reestdal. The Reestdal is located on the border of the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel. Around the border river the Reest is an ancient stream valley with a very unique character. In this small-scale landscape are hay meadows, fields, heaths, forests, estates and monumental farms. There are special plants and animals, including the holwort, badgers, deer and not to forget storks. Visit the Reest Valley to enjoy beautiful biking and hiking trails, exhibits, history and much more.
