The nature house (40m2) is equipped for a stay of up to 4 persons and has 2 separate bedrooms (1x double bed + 1x bunk bed). Furthermore, the house has a fully equipped kitchen (hob, combi-oven, Senseo coffee machine) and bathroom with toilet and shower. In the living room there is a sitting area with TV. Wifi is free of charge. At the back is the wooded, private and fully fenced garden (almost 5000m2) with a spacious terrace (+ BBQ) where you can enjoy the sunset in privacy. You have a beautiful, wide view over the adjacent meadows and fields. The nature house is easily accessible and has a spacious private parking for 2 cars. A unique feature here is that during your stay you have a private 'photo hut' from which you can photograph numerous birds and other animals up close. Due to the focus on nature development and nature photography, pets are not allowed.

The wooded region northeast of Antwerp has a lot of beauty in store. There is an extensive cycling and hiking network (including challenging MTB routes) that winds through nature reserves such as (Border Park) the Kalmthoutse Heide, the Maatjes and the Klein Schietveld on the Belgian side and the Brabantse Wal, Wouwse Plantage, Oude Buisse Heide, the Matjens and the Moeren on the Dutch side of the border. Within walking distance of the house is tavern 'De Bosrust' where you can eat while children enjoy themselves in the large playground. Also very nice for children and adults is 'Robotland', a brand new technology park within cycling distance of your residence. At 5km is the train station of Essen from where you are in just half an hour in the historic center of Antwerp for a day of culture, shopping, good food or just everything together....
