♥ We are now completely energy-neutral :-) In the middle of the Achterhoek on the edge of a small and very quiet park "Het Belegh van Groll" is our nature house. The house is built in Saxon style is fully equipped. On the ground floor is the living room with open kitchen. The garden doors give a nice view of the garden and the meadow and woods behind. You don't have the feeling of being at a park! On the ground floor is the 1st 2-bedroom, bathroom (walk-in shower) and toilet. On the 1st floor are the other 2 bedrooms, of which the room overlooking the meadow can also be used as a study. Desk with desk chair are available as well as a strong wifi signal. Furthermore, our cottage is equipped with solar panels, air conditioning / heat pump and there is wood available to light a cozy fire. Our nature house is located in the middle of the Achterhoekse coulisse landscape. With a little luck you can spot deer early in the morning from the living room. From our orchard you walk straight into nature. Several hiking and cycling nodes are around the corner. The Ekoboerderij of John Arink is within walking distance. Their organic store is open on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Highly recommended! Cheese farm Weenink (open every day) and open-air museum "Erve Kots" is 2 km away. Here you can experience the farm life of the past and eat delicious pancakes. Along the way you may encounter a milk tapping point or a rest stop at the farmer's with coffee and cake. In the Achterhoek, meanwhile, you will find many country shops selling artisanal regional products. For those going a little further, the Flamingos at Zwillbrockervenn or the climbing forest in Winterswijk are recommended. Castle Ruurlo with Museum MORE and Bredevoort with its numerous bookstores are also fun outings nearby.
