This nature house is a monumental family house with a rich history. Really for people who love "les vieilles pierres". Go back in time and let your imagination run wild. The kitchen with its monumental fireplace is the ideal place to cook and eat together. The private parking area leads to an enclosed front garden equipped with garden furniture. The back garden offers a phenomenal view of a small lake and the 11th-century church. The stone Renaissance staircase leads to the second floor. There you will find the spacious bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. Bedroom 1 has a four-poster bed. Bedroom 2 has a 2-bed + 1-bed.Bedroom 3 has a 1-bed. Bedroom 2 and 3 are connected. To go to the bathroom you must go through bedroom 3. There is also another bathroom on the ground floor. The living room has a library, chess table and games. There is also a bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. This house does not have WiFi.

The house is located in the bocage of the Vendée (1 of the three regions with the cleanest air in France!) If you sit in the backyard and look out over the small lake you have a good chance of spotting the oriole and the hoopoe. You will also see the kestrels that have lived in the old walls of the house for many years. At dusk you can hear barn owls. A true paradise for bird lovers! Through the backyard you get to the lake, the bocce court, the church and the bakery. In the vicinity you can make beautiful walks and fantastic cycling. A varied environment with forests and scenic landscapes. At 50 km are the beautiful sandy beaches of the Vendée, the historic city of La Rochelle and île de Ré. The amusement park Puy du Fou is 40 km away, so there is also plenty to do for children. Also, there is a reservoir 15 km away where you can swim.
