A LOFT WITH A VIEW. Architecturally remodeled apartment for two. Enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and unwind in the nature garden. Feel welcome in our unique design loft on the lake. Conceived in the 1970s as a vacation home for an entire family, recently transformed by us into a nice place for two. Walls, cubicles and bunk beds went out, beautiful carpentry came in. A sunny yellow closet divides the vacation loft into zones. The home is designed so you have nice sight lines to the lake from everywhere. Comfort is important to us, so you sleep on an Auping Original bed and sit on a Gelderland sofa designed by Jan des Bouvrie. Both of them recent. The other furniture is custom-made for the loft or carefully selected vintage items. We love to cook. Do you? The kitchen has plenty of space and you can enjoy that fantastic view of the garden and the water. In the garden there is a BBQ waiting for you.

The nature house is beautifully located on the Sneekermeer lake. All photos are taken from (from) the loft and its own garden. The Dutch skies, the movement of the water, the boats. they form a constantly changing painting, just to be admired from the couch. Soothing that is! The garden in beach atmosphere is a paradise for bees and butterflies. And for you as a vacation guest, of course. The nature house is in the middle of a number of protected nature reserves through which you can walk, cycle, sail or supper. You can rent a sailboat, luxury sloop, sup or (electric) bicycle in the immediate vicinity. In July and August the lake is bustling with water sports. In the early and late season, tranquility prevails. Nearby you will find Beachclub Sneek, a water-ski track and a swimming beach. The cozy historic center of Sneek is also within easy reach. The bicycle route to Sneek goes along a winding medieval dike right through nature.
