Between Haarlem and Amsterdam on the sailingwater that connects these two cities lies a hidden house on a field. The field is being rewilded since three years and a food forest is in the make. The house is very light has a woodstove (and infrared panels), a glass part, an inside part with a big 2p bed and bathroom and on the vide there are two extra beds. The house is calm and relaxing.

Haarlem is 4 minutes drive. From behind the house you can rent a boat to sail to the open water (De Mooie Nel) for a swim or sail to Haarlem in 1,5 hours . It's 4 minutes drive to Haarlem (3km) 20 minutes drive to the beach (Bloemendaal is 12 km). In the dunes its magic around sunset.In the garden (2 acres) there is several places to sit outside.There are many birds , a hare and sometimes the sheep of the neighbours will keep an eye on you from the other side of the canal. To go to Amsterdam it takes 20 minutes (10 minutes by car to Halfweg and 10 minutes bij train to central station). In the village there is a great restaurant.In the summer there is vegetables and herbs from the garden available. If youn like nature and city combined you will be fine!
