Come spend the night in a Mongolian yurt on the uninhabited island of De Kluut. A magical experience! The tent's round shape makes it look particularly attractive and cozy. A yurt is well insulated and ventilated, so it is nice to stay there. Staying overnight in a yurt is very luxurious and cozy. The yurt has a skylight at the top through which the stars are visible at night. Be enchanted by the exceptional supporting pillars, the numerous wooden roof spokes and the beautiful skylight. When the candles are lit and a crackling fire in the wood stove, you won't know what you're experiencing! The yurt is equipped with made beds (sheets and comforters), a stove, lockers, a table with chairs, cooler, gas stove, cooking supplies and eating utensils. Outside you can chill in a hammock. The yurt is in a special spot in the middle of the island, surrounded by reeds and bushes. Nice and out of the wind and with lots of privacy.

Island de Kluut is located in the middle of the Veluwemeer, near Harderwijk. The island is about four acres and lushly covered with tall trees, dense shrubbery, reed palms with large clearings of sand or grass here and there. You are brought to the island by boat in 10 minutes. There you immediately imagine yourself in a totally different world without cars or bicycles. Here you can enjoy the peace, nature, birds, clean swimming water and the fantastic view over the Veluwemeer. On the island are 15 tents very spaciously set up. There is a large tent with high tables and a group kitchen for general use. In the Tipi Lounge you can sit around a cozy fire and roast marshmellows over the fire. There is an excellent restroom on the island and also power to charge mobile devices. Our ferry sails four times a day to Flevoland, from where you can take all kinds of trips.
