A small alley leads you to my lovingly furnished village cottage called Mariele. Just like Marie, only with an "le". If you take a closer look, you'll want to add an "le" to many things in the cottage. From the hallway through the living room to the bathroom. It's a bright, charmingly renovated cottage with an extra dose of coziness, a wood-burning stove and a cute outdoor seating area in the courtyard. Pets are welcome. The stairs are relatively narrow and steep, but there is a guest toilet on the upper floor. I'm pretty much in love with this little house. If you take good care of it and are nice to my neighbors, you are more than welcome to spend a vacation here :) It's my own home, not an anonymous vacation home, but I'm happy to share it when I'm traveling.

Albersweiler is located right between the Palatinate Forest and the Southern Wine Route with its beautiful vineyards and numerous wineries. The little lane is a great place to take a stroll: In just a few minutes, you are standing amidst vines on the edge of the forest with a magnificent view far beyond Albersweiler. A dream! From Mariele, it's 80 meters to delicious breakfast rolls and the fluffiest nut plait from the traditional Schaub bakery.
