This cottage is located in the outskirts of Markelo, in the hamlet of Stokkum. While staying here, you have access to part of the farmhouse (ca. 1900). You can use a fully equipped kitchen (from Senseo coffee machine, toaster to juicer) and a private living room with several seating areas and television. From the living room you can go to the bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.80x2.00). The toilet is separate from the shower room with sink. During hot days you can keep cool by turning on the air conditioning. If desired, bicycles can be stored in the lockable shed, where you can also charge them directly. In the yard there are several terraces, so you can always sit in the sun or in the shade. You may also bring your own cushions. We do have them.

Around the farm you have an unobstructed view of the meadows and forest. The famous mountain bike route of Markelo passes literally in front of the door here. A short distance away you can pick up both the walking and cycling network and explore the area. Fun to visit are Diepenheim (castles and art), Delden (history and Twickel estate), Rijssen, Enschede and Deventer. Also the Achterhoek is not far and offers a lot of entertainment.
