Under the smoke of Heerenveen, in the middle of the Frisian farmland, at our residential farm, there is a spacious 11-meter chalet with kilometers of views. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get back to nature to unwind, this place is for you. This sounds very idyllic and it is, but as mentioned, the chalet is in farmland. This means that the meadows are mowed and fertilized a few times a year. You won't be able to hang out your laundry for a few hours. This is a fine chalet with all the necessary amenities at a good level and a complete inventory, but the chalet is basic. Along the edge of our yard by the ditch and pastures you are literally in the middle of nature. You can see many wild animals such as hares, lapwings, swallows, deer, martens, as well as our own sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits and dog. There is plenty of space and quiet on our property with an orchard and a large vegetable garden. With 10 minutes cycling you are in the center of Heerenveen. But you can also go to the woods of Oranjewoud, sail on the Tjeukemeer or wander through quaint villages.
