The Finnish Kota has a sitting area, writing or dining table + chair, 2 sofa beds with reindeer skins and mattresses, coffee and tea making facilities and a wood stove with hot plate and is 8 m2. Intimate, cozy and very suitable for a 1-person retreat, or cozy with 2. The Kota has electricity and WIFI. With two people it is already cozy, a pet is of course welcome but we do not recommend this nature house (with 2 people). Sanitary facilities (shower, toilet and sink) can be found in the part of the farm (toilet bucket available). There is also a small and fully equipped kitchen which you can use. Plumbing and kitchen are shared.There are plenty of duvets/blankets, and also a fire pit for a campfire.Usually we have a room or apartment free in case of very bad weather.

Somewhere in the Achterhoek stands a monumental farmhouse. In the yard, chickens, ducks, peacocks and pigeons scratch about. In the distance you can hear a cuckoo, golden oriole, horses graze in the meadow. A place out of time. Beautiful clearings in the forest invite meditation. Erve Veldink is a farm with a history dating back to the 14th century. The current buildings are 120+ years old and are listed buildings. They are located at the edge of the village of Haarlo (near Borculo) in the middle of the typical Achterhoek scenery, with its private character and beautiful vistas, where pieces of forest, meadows, fields and streams alternate. Beautiful for hiking, cycling and stargazing. The farm is occupied by a few permanent residents.
