On a side street in the countryside between Vijlen and Mechelen is this semi-detached house with 4 bedrooms, a separate plot with garage and garden including panoramic terrace with fantastic views over the hills of Limburg. This house is very quietly situated in the hamlet Hilleshagen. From the living room and the panorama terrace you have a view over the Lombergbeek valley, the Vijlenerbos, numerous fields with sheep, cows, sometimes a deer and overlooking the beautiful Martinus Church, the highest situated church in the Netherlands. The house can be rented for a minimum of 3 nights. Arrival time: from 14.30 onwards. Departure time: no later than 11 a.m. There are 5 (partly movable) beds available, including bed linen. Towels, washcloths, tea towels, etc. are sufficiently present. Please leave the house neat and clean, as found upon arrival. Please leave the used linen in the washing machine on departure.

The house is located in the middle of nature, near tourist attractions such as the Drielandenpunt, the Geulvallei, the Vijlenerbos, the Gulperberg, Aachen, Valkenburg, Maastricht and Liege. The area is very popular with hikers and cyclists. The only major Dutch cycling classic, the Amstel Gold Race, is held here every year in April. So grab your (racing) bike and try to conquer one of the famous hills, such as Camerig, Gulperberg, Eyserbosweg, Keutenberg or Cauberg! The unique landscape makes South Limburg the most striking part of the Netherlands. Famous for its green rolling hills, vast plateaus, fast-flowing streams, typical half-timbered farmhouses, flowering orchards and vineyards, grafts and hollow roads.
