This vacation home (living space approx. 50m², 3.5 rooms) in the forest follows the simple life, empty, inviting rooms to arrive, exhale and come to yourself. There is deliberately no TV, WLAN is available, home office is possible, the living spaces in the house are not fixed, some familiar furniture (bed, dining table) is missing. In one room there is a pull-out couch (160x200cm) in front of the tiled stove, in the other a futon. Please bring comforters or sleeping bags for these sleeping areas. Heating is provided by wood and partly by electric radiators. In the kitchen there is a gas stove and kitchen witch. Try a simpler life. Outside the house there are fireplaces and some benches and tables. The service water comes from the rain cistern, so please bring your own drinking water as you would for a camping vacation. The canisters can be filled at a spring nearby. Bathing, showering in a wooden bathtub after firing up the wood-burning stove with a view of the forest. Electricity is as usual from the socket.

The house is at the end of a vacation home area and the paths are not paved. There is woodland around the house and at the front you can see through the trees to a pasture. A stream flows below the house and a hiking trail passes a few meters below. It is a good starting point for excursions, hikes in the national park or to Trier. I will send you directions and further information when you book. We are artists, explorers and musicians - paints, pictures, paper and canvases are available on request. A mini-workshop, lessons can also be offered on request. A guitar and drum are usually in the house, a piano sometimes. You are invited to play.
