Welcome to our cozy, sustainable Nature House ( with heat pump, solar water heaters etc.) in the front house of the former farm in Eemster. The house has a private entrance, a spacious, kitchen, a living room with sitting and dining area, a closet full of games and books, a TV + Netflix + DVD and two spacious bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has 2 extra beds( or sitting area)and a crib+ a 2nd TV. The house can accommodate 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children. For younger vacationers we have:2 cots, high chairs and toys. The house has a spacious front garden and a large veranda by the kitchen! Children up to 2 years stay for free in the parents' room. The area is quiet and lies just outside Dwingeloo, a beautiful village with stores, a supermarket, good restaurants, an outdoor pool and much more. Come enjoy with us in the region!

Our house is wonderfully quiet. Walking and cycling can be done from the house with unprecedented possibilities. The Leggelderveld is within 20 minutes on foot. The Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld are more within cycling distance. In the house you will find lots of tourist information, cycling and walking routes + maps of the area. There are such things as cranes, deer, owls, foxes and wolves in our region to see. Also many beautiful villages, nature baths, farmer's produce( see app Lekkerder), markets, Shakespeare theater and so much more. Bicycles and bicycle carts are for rent in Diever and Dwingeloo ( 3km) and I can also arrange for you. From the rental in Diever is a bring and get service, but you have to pay for that. I am always available for questions, by phone, whatsapp, or just ring the doorbell. We live in the back. As of April, the cottage has its own charging station for electric cars. Our house will be completely off gas from mid-March 2024 and has solar water heaters.
